Hadith 240
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ الدِّيبَاجِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ أَخُو أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيِّ لأُمِّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " فِي بَعْضِ مَخَارِجِهِ وَمَعَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ ، فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ ، فَلَمْ يَجِدِ الْقَوْمُ مَا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ بِهِ ، فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا نَجِدُ مَا نَتَوَضَّأُ بِهِ ، فَانْطَلَقَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ ، فَجَاءَ بِقَدَحِ مَاءٍ يَسِيرٍ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ مَدَّ أَصَابِعَهُ عَلَى الْقَدَحِ فَتَوَضَّئُوا كُلُّهُمْ حَتَّى بَلَغُوا مَا يُرِيدُونَ "، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : كَانُوا قَرِيبًا مِنْ سَبْعِينَ ، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ ، إِلا مَحْبُوبٌ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ حَبِيبُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, says: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had gone out somewhere, and some of the companions were with him. The time for prayer came, but the people had no water at all with which they could perform ablution. They said: O Messenger of Allah! We do not have enough water to perform ablution. So a man went and brought a little water in a bowl. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ablution, then spread his fingers over the bowl, and all the people performed ablution, until whoever wanted, got what he needed. Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, says: There were about seventy people.
