The chapter on the change of qiblah
Hadith 231
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ النَّحَّاسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ زَاذَانَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " صُرِفَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْقِبْلَةِ وَهُمْ فِي صَلاةٍ ، فَانْحَرَفُوا فِي رُكُوعِهِمْ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ زَاذَانَ ، إِلا مُؤَمَّلٌ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was turned from the first qiblah towards the Ka'bah, at that time he was in prayer, so all of them turned while in their bowing (ruku‘).
