Hadith 226
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السَّرَّاجُ الْقَاضِي الْبَصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْجَزَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ ، قَالَ : رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا "يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ صَلاةَ الصُّبْحِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَيَّتَهُمَا جَعَلْتَ صَلاتَكَ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ رَوْحٍ ، إِلا مَخْلَدٌ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ الْفَضْلُ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man performing the two rak‘ahs of Sunnah of Fajr during the congregational prayer, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Which of these have you made your prayer?"
