Hadith 146
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim person performs ablution and washes his hands, the sins committed by his hands are removed. When he washes his face, the sins committed by his eyes are forgiven. When he wipes his head, the sins committed by his ears are forgiven. When he washes his feet, the sins towards which his feet have walked are forgiven. Then, when he stands for prayer, it becomes a virtue for him."
