Hadith 85
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، بِمِصْرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَكِيمِ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ ثَلاثًا ، وَهُنَّ كَائِنَاتٌ : زَلَّةُ عَالِمٍ ، وَجِدَالُ مُنَافِقٍ بِالْقُرْآنِ ، وَدُنْيَا تُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، إِلا عَبْدُ الْحَكِيمِ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَلا يُرْوَى عَنْ مُعَاذٍ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I fear three things for you, but they will certainly occur: the slip of a scholar, the argument of a hypocrite regarding the Qur'an, and the world being opened up to you."
