Hadith 41
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السِّيرِينِّيُّ ، مِنْ وَلَدِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، بِبَغْدَادَ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكَّارُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَخَلَقَ لَهَا أَهْلا بِعَشَائِرِهِمْ وَقَبَائِلِهِمْ ، وَلا يُزَادُ فِيهِمْ وَلا يَنْقُصُ مِنْهُمْ ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَفِيمَ الْعَمَلُ ؟ ، قَالَ : اعْمَلُوا فَكُلُّ امْرِئٍ مُيَسَّرٌ لِمَا خُلِقَ لَهُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، إِلا بَكَّارٌ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When Allah Almighty created Paradise, He also created the tribes and families who will dwell in it; neither will they be increased nor will they be decreased.” A man said: O Messenger of Allah! Then what is the meaning of doing deeds? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “You should do deeds, for indeed, ease has been made for every person towards the path for which he was created.”
