Hadith 37
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَزِيعٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ يَحْيَى ، إِلا ابْنُ بَزِيعٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ يَحْيَى
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever swears a false oath about something in order to unlawfully consume the wealth of a Muslim, will meet Allah on the Day of Resurrection while He will be angry with him."
