Hadith 17
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّقْرِ السُّكَّرِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفًّى ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ مَجُوسَ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ الْمُكَذِّبُونَ بِأَقْدَارِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، فَإِنْ مَرِضُوا فَلا تَعُودُوهُمْ ، وَإِنْ لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَلا تُسَلِّمُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ، وَإِنْ مَاتُوا فَلا تَشْهَدُوهُمْ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، إِلا بَقِيَّةُ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ ابْنُ مُصَفًّى
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Those who deny and reject Allah’s decrees are the Magians of this Ummah. If they fall ill, do not visit them; if you meet them, do not greet them; if they die, do not attend their funerals.”
