Hadith 998
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ الْقَاضِي ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَحْرٍ الْهُجَيْمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَشَّابُ الْمَكِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَرَبِيٍّ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ إِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ ، إِلا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَحْرٍ الْهُجَيْمِيُّ
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats and drinks from gold and silver vessels is pouring the fire of Hell into his belly."
