Description of the time at night when supplications are accepted
Hadith 960
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَردَانَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ شِهَابٍ الْقَزْوِينِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ فِي اللَّيْلِ سَاعَةً لا يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ فِيهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ ، إِلا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ وَذَلِكَ كُلَّ اللَّيْلِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، إِلا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is a moment during the night in which, if any Muslim asks Allah for something, Allah grants it to him, and this (moment) occurs every night."
