Hadith 956
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنُ عَقِيلٍ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ، بِبَغْدَادَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْجَصَّاصُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الرِّزْقَ لا تُنْقِصُهُ الْمَعْصِيَةُ وَلا تَزِيدُهُ الْحَسَنَةُ ، وَتَرْكُ الدُّعَاءِ مَعْصِيَةٌ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، إِلا إِسْمَاعِيلُ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Disobedience does not decrease sustenance, nor does righteousness increase it, and abandoning supplication is disobedience."
