Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the night I was taken on the Isra, I saw Ibrahim al-Khalil (peace be upon him), and he said: O Muhammad! Convey my greetings to your Ummah, and inform them that Paradise has excellent soil and sweet water, but it is open, empty fields in which trees are planted by reciting «سُبْحَانَاللّٰهِوَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِوَلَاإِلٰهَإِلَّااللّٰهُوَاللّٰهُأَكْبَرُوَلَاحَوْلَوَلَاقُوَّةَإِلَّابِاللّٰهِ»."

´Ibn Mas`ud narrated that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I met Ibrahim on the night of my ascent, so he said: ‘O Muhammad, recite Salam from me to your nation, and inform them that Paradise has pure soil and delicious water, and that it is a flat treeless plain, and that its seeds are: “Glory is to Allah (Subḥān Allāh) [and] all praise is due to Allah (Al-ḥamdulillāh) and ‘none has the right to be worshipped but Allah’ (Lā ilāha illallāh), and Allah is the greatest (Allāhu Akbar).”

Explanation: 1: Paradise is called "Jannah" because it is filled with trees; the very meaning of "Jannah" is "gardens." Then what does "it is empty" mean? The meaning is that the trees of Paradise are in fact the fruits of the deeds of the servants. Allah, through His knowledge of the unseen, knows which servants will enter Paradise as a result of their deeds. Thus, He has caused trees to grow there in accordance with the measure of their deeds, or He will cause them to grow. In this sense, it is as if Paradise is an open field empty of trees.
2: That is: Each time a servant recites these words, that many trees are created (in Paradise).
