حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ شَاذَانَ الْفَارِسِيُّ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ ، أَبُو يَعْلَى ، بِشِيرَازَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَامِرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، "هَلْ قَارَفْتَ شَيْئًا مِمَّا قَارَفَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ؟ ، قَالَ : لا ، وَقَدْ كُنْتُ عَلَى مَوْعِدَيْنِ أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا ، فَغَلَبَتْنِي عَيْنِي ، وَأَمَّا الآخَرُ فَشَغَلَتْنِي عَنْهُ سَامِرُ الْقَوْمِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، إِلا سَعْدٌ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ شَاذَانُ ، وَلا يُرْوَى عَنْ عَمَّارٍ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Have you ever committed any sin like the people of ignorance?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "No! And when I was about to do such a thing, once sleep overcame me, and another time I was distracted by the talk of some people."
