Description of the compassion of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 874
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ تَمِيمِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ هَالَةَ بْنِ أَبِي هَالَةَ التَّمِيمِيُّ ، بِمِصْرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَمْرِو بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ تَمِيمِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ زَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ رَاقِدٌ ، "فَاسْتَيْقَظَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَضَمَّ هَالَةَ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ ، فَقَالَ : هَالَةُ ، هَالَةُ ، هَالَةُ ، قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ : كَأَنَّهُ سُرَّ بِهِ لِقَرَابَتِهِ مِنْ خَدِيجَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا "، لَمْ نَكْتُبْهُ إِلا عَنْ هَذَا الشَّيْخِ ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْفَضْلِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was sleeping. When he woke up, he embraced Halah and said: "Halah, Halah, Halah." Abu al-Qasim says: It was as if he (peace and blessings be upon him) was very happy at her arrival because she was very close to Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her).
