It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tell me, if the tribes of Juhainah, Muzainah, Aslam, and Ghifar are better in the sight of Allah than Asad, Ghatafan, and Banu Amir bin Sa'sa'ah, will the latter (the ones mentioned last) remain unsuccessful and deprived?" The noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "Yes, because Juhainah, Muzainah, Aslam, and Ghifar are better than Asad, Ghatafan, and Banu Amir bin Sa'sa'ah."

Narrated Abu Bakra: The Prophet said, "Do you think that the tribes of Juhaina, Muzaina, Aslam and Ghifar are better than the tribes of Bani Tamim, Bani Asad, Bam `Abdullah bin Ghatafan and Bani Amir bin Sasaa?" A man said, "They were unsuccessful and losers." The Prophet added," (Yes), they are better than the tribes of Bani Tamim, Bani Asad, Bani `Abdullah bin Ghatafan and Bani Amir bin Sasaa."

Hadith Commentary:
In the era of ignorance (Jahiliyyah), the tribes of Juhaynah, Muzaynah, Aslam, and Ghifar were considered of lower status compared to the tribes of Banu Tamim, Banu Asad, Banu Abd Allah ibn Ghatafan, and Banu Amir ibn Sa’sa’ah, etc. Then, when Islam came, these tribes were at the forefront in accepting it; therefore, in honor and virtue, they surpassed the tribes of Banu Tamim and others.

Hadith Commentary: The aforementioned tribes were deemed praiseworthy because they accepted Islam very early and possessed excellent character; furthermore, their hearts were soft and tender. In contrast, Banu Asad and others, after the passing of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), joined Talhah bin Khuwailid and became apostates, and Banu Tamim also turned away from Islam by joining the claimant to prophethood, Sajah. Therefore, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) considered Juhaynah, Muzaynah, Aslam, and Ghifar superior in comparison to those tribes.
