Hadith 833
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمُّوَيْهِ أَيْسَارٌ التُّسْتَرِيُّ الْبَزَّازُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا رَجَعْنَا مِنْ تَبُوكَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : "مَتَى السَّاعَةُ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : لا يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ وَعَلَى ظَهْرِ الأَرْضِ نَفْسٌ مَنْفُوسَةٌ الْيَوْمَ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ ، إِلا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: When we returned from the Battle of Tabuk, a man asked: O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour be? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "A hundred years will not pass over the people while there remains on the earth any soul that is present today."
