Description of the virtue of the birth of a daughter
Hadith 832
وَبِهِ وَبِهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "إِذَا وُلِدَ لِلرَّجُلِ ابْنَةٌ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَلائِكَةً يَقُولُونَ : السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ ، يَكْتَنِفُونَهَا بِأَجْنِحَتِهِمْ ، وَيَمْسَحُونَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا ، وَيَقُولُونَ : ضَعِيفَةٌ خَرَجَتْ مِنْ ضَعِيفَةٍ ، الْقَيِّمُ عَلَيْهَا مُعَانٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ "، لا تُرْوَى هَذِهِ الأَحَادِيثُ عَنْ نُبَيْطٍ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ تَفَرَّدَ بِهَا وَلَدُهُ عَنْهُ
With this same chain, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When a man's daughter is born, Allah sends angels there who say: 'O people of the house! May Allah's peace descend upon you.' Then they surround them with their wings and place their hands on the head of the girl and say: 'She is weak and born of a weak mother. Whoever is her guardian will be helped until the Day of Resurrection.'"
