Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are in such a time that whoever violates Allah's command in it will be destroyed, and a time will also come when whoever acts upon even a tenth of Allah's commands in it will attain salvation."

´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said:` "You are in a time when whoever abandons a tenth of what he has been ordered, then he is ruined. Then, there will come a time in which whoever does a tenth of what he has been ordered shall be saved."
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
Explanation: 1: That is, at a time when the religion is dominant and its supporters are many, abandoning and neglecting even a tenth part of the religious matters leads to destruction. But in that era which will be filled with immorality and wickedness, when Islam will be weak and disbelief will be dominant, at such a time, even the one who acts upon a tenth part of the religious rulings (ahkam shar‘iyyah) will be successful and triumphant. However, this tenth part must necessarily include the four pillars (arkan arba‘ah).
Note: (Based on corroborating evidence, this hadith is authentic; otherwise, its narrator "Nu‘aym ibn Hammad" is severely weak in memory. For details, see: al-Sahihah no. 2510, and Tawaruj al-Albani: 224)

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “In the times in which you are living, anyone who abandons a tenth of what he is commanded will perish; but a time is coming when anyone who does a tenth of what he is commanded will be safe.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.

Hadith Authentication Its chain of narration is weak. This chain is weak for two reasons: ➊ Although Nu‘aym ibn Hammad rahimahullah was truthful and his hadith were fair (hasan al-hadith), this narration is among those for which Nu‘aym has been criticized. See my book ‘Ilmi Maqalat [ج1ص462] ➋ Imam Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah rahimahullah was a mudallis, and this narration is from «عن». ◄ A weak corroborating narration (shahid) attributed to Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari radi Allahu anhu is found in Musnad Ahmad [5؍155] and Dham al-Kalam by al-Harawi [نسخة عبدالرحمٰن الشبل ح97، نسخة الشيخ الصالح ابي جابر عبدالله بن محمد بن عثمان الانصاري حفظه الله ح100] and others. See: [السلسلة الصحيحة للالباني 6؍40، 41 ح2510] ↰ This corroborating narration is weak due to its being disconnected (not musnad). Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud radi Allahu anhu said: “You are living in a time when the prayer is long and the sermon is short, the scholars are many and the preachers are few. But a time will come upon you when the prayer will be short and the sermon long, the preachers will be many and the scholars few.” etc. [المعجم الكبير للطبراني 113/9ح 8567 وسنده حسن] ↰ In this mawquf narration (which is, in ruling, marfu‘), there is no corroboration (shahid) for the above hadith.
Summary of Authentication: ◄ Some scholars have declared this narration hasan li-ghayrihi, but it is weak with all its corroborating narrations.
