Hadith 796
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْخَزَرِ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عِيسَى الرَّمْلِيُّ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَعَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "سَتَكُونُ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةٌ وَأُمُورٌ تُنْكِرُونَهَا ، قَالُوا : فَمَا تَأْمُرُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : تُؤَدُّونَ الْحَقَّ الَّذِي عَلَيْكُمْ ، وَتَسْأَلُونَ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَكُمْ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، إِلا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، وَحَدِيثُ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ مَشْهُورٌ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) narrate that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon after me, some will be given preference over others, and matters will arise which you will dislike." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do when such circumstances arise? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Give the people their due rights and ask your own right from Allah, the Exalted."
