Description of the Dajjal coming from the East
Hadith 786
حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الشُّونِيزِيُّ الْفَرَائِضِيُّ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ بِلالِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ "ذَكَرَ الدَّجَّالَ ، فَقَالَ : يَجِيءُ مِنْ هَا هُنَا ، لا بَلْ مِنْ هَا هُنَا وَأَوْمَأَ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، إِلا عَمْرٌو
Sayyiduna Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the Dajjal and said: "He will come from here." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards the east.
