Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most beloved of you to me are those who have the best character, who are gentle, who form bonds with others and others form bonds with them. And the worst of you to me are those who spread gossip, create discord between friends, and seek out the faults of the innocent."

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: The most perfect believer in respect of faith is he who is best of them in manners.

Benefits and Issues: (Akhlaq) is the plural of khuluq, with a dhamma (u-sound) on the kha and lam. By this is meant a person’s habits and actions; excellent habits are described as the perfection of faith (iman). Whoever’s habits and dealings with others are improper, his faith is deficient to that extent.
