حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَطَسَ خَمَّرَ وَجْهَهُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ ، إِلا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sneezed, he would cover his blessed face.
