Muhammad bin Hamzah bin Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went towards the camel pens and saw our master Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) bringing a she-camel, on which there was ghee, honey, and flour. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered, "Make the she-camel sit down." They made it sit down, then a pot was brought and some of all three things were put into it. Then he ordered, and a fire was lit underneath it. When the pot was cooked, he said: "Eat from it," and he himself also ate from it. Then he said: "This is a thing which the people of Persia call khabees, that is, halwa (sweet dish)."
