Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
Benefits and Issues:
➊ Rida refers to the upper garment that a person wears over his body, and izar refers to the lower garment that is used as a waist-wrapper (tahband).

➋ We have faith in all the attributes of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and we affirm them without asking how (bi-la kayf) and without likening them to the creation (bi-la tashbih). Perfect majesty and greatness belong solely and exclusively to Allah, and the meaning of expressing them with "rida" and "izar"...

...and Allah knows best.

According to Allamah Mundhiri...

...is that just as no one from the creation allows anyone else to share in his rida or izar, likewise the rank of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is infinitely, infinitely exalted and lofty.

Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefits and Issues:

Grandeur and majesty are intrinsic attributes of Allah Ta'ala. If any created being possesses temporary and limited grandeur or eminence, it is only by Allah’s bestowal. Therefore, it is obligatory upon a person to be grateful to Allah for this, rather than adopting an attitude of arrogance by claiming greatness for oneself.

The one who acts arrogantly is, in effect, claiming to possess divine attributes; thus, this is a very grave sin.

A person’s true greatness lies in humbling himself before Allah and becoming His servant, not in pride and arrogance.

Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim bin Basheer
Benefit:
This is a Hadith Qudsi. Majesty (kibriya) and greatness (‘azamah) are Allah Ta’ala’s cloak. Whoever acts arrogantly, it is as if he has laid his hand upon Allah Ta’ala’s cloak. The human being is utterly insignificant in comparison to Allah. It is not permissible for a human being to act arrogantly.
