Hadith 508
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيُّ الْعَسْقَلانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ "عَقَّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ ، وَخَتَنَهُمَا لَسَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، إِلا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ أَحَدٌ مِمَّنْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ وَخَتَنَهُمَا لِسَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ ، إِلا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the ‘aqiqah for Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both) and also performed their circumcision on the seventh day.
