Consequence of attributing lies to the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 5
وَبِهِ وَبِهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ "
It is narrated with the same chain that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, let him prepare his abode in the Hellfire."
