حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، "خَطَبَ أُمَّ مُبَشِّرٍ بِنْتَ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ مَعْرُورٍ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنِّي شَرَطْتُ لِزَوْجِي أَنْ لا أَتَزَوَّجَ بَعْدَهُ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ هَذَا لا يَصْلُحُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، إِلا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ نُعَيْمٌ
Sayyida Umm Mubashir Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) proposed to her, so she said: I have made a promise to my husband that after him I will not marry anyone. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is not correct."
