Abu Lubabah bin Abdul Mundhir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for rain with this prayer: “Allahumma’sqina” (“O Allah! Give us water”). So Abu Lubabah said: O Messenger of Allah! The dates are laid out in the drying places. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again supplicated: “Allahumma’sqina” (“O Allah! Give us water”), until Abu Lubabah stood up naked and began to close the holes in his date-drying place with his waistcloth. At that time, there were no clouds at all in the sky. It began to rain. People came to Abu Lubabah and said: Now it will never stop until you stand naked and close the holes of your drying place, just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said. He did so, and the sky cleared.
