Hadith 156
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السِّمَّرِيُّ النَّاقِدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَسَنِ الشَّيْلمَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : بَشَّرْتُ بِلالا ، فَقَالَ لِي : يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ، " بِمَ تُبَشِّرُنِي ؟ ، فَقُلْتُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : يَجِيءُ بِلالٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَاحِلَةٍ رَحْلُهَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، وَزِمَامُهَا مِنْ دُرٍّ وَيَاقُوتٍ ، مَعَهُ لِوَاءٌ ، يَتْبَعُهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ فَيُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيُدْخِلُ مَنْ أَذَّنَ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا ، يُرِيدُ بِذَلِكِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، إِلا خَالِدٌ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ الْحُسَيْنُ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I gave glad tidings to Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said: "Abdullah! What glad tidings are you giving me?" I said that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "On the Day of Resurrection, Bilal will come on a mount whose saddle will be of gold and its reins of pearls and rubies, and there will be a flag on it behind which all the muezzins will be. Then he will admit them into Paradise, until he will even admit the man who gave the call to prayer for forty days seeking Allah's pleasure."
