Statement about the bath of a woman with istihada
Hadith 140
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جُنَادٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُلْثُومٍ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ تَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ قُرْءِ إِلَى قُرْءٍ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، إِلا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُلْثُومٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ بَقِيَّةُ
Amr bin Shu'aib, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates from his father, from his grandfather, who says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A woman experiencing irregular bleeding should perform ghusl (ritual bath) from one menstruation to the next."
