حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلُّوَيَةَ الْقَطَّانُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْعَطَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاقَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "فَنَاءُ أُمَّتِي بِالطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ ، قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَذَا الطَّعْنُ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ ، فَمَا الطَّاعُونُ ؟ ، قَالَ : وَخْزُ أَعْدَائِكُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ ، وَفِي كُلِّ شَهَادَةٍ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ ، إِلا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عِيسَى
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The destruction of my Ummah will be through stabbing and plague." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! We know what stabbing is, but what is plague? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the effect of your jinn enemies, and in each there is martyrdom."
