حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُدَيْرٍ الرَّحْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ "فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : وَكَانَ تَحْتَهُ كَنْزٌ لَهُمَا سورة الكهف آية 82 ، قَالَ : ذَهَبٌ وَفِضَّةٌ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، إِلا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ ، وَلا عَنْهُ إِلا يَزِيدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding Allah’s statement: ﴿وَكَانَ تَحْتَهُ كَنْزٌ لَهُمَا﴾ “And beneath it was a treasure for them both” (Al-Kahf: 82), said: “What is meant by this is gold and silver.”
