Hadith 1068
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ابْنُ أَخِي هَنَّادٍ السَّرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الْبَجَلِيِّ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، " أَحْرَقَنِي لِسَانِي ، قَالَ : فَأَيْنَ أَنْتَ عَنِ الاسْتِغْفَارِ ، إِنِّي لأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلِ ، إِلا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ هَنَّادٌ
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! My tongue has burned me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Where are you from seeking forgiveness? I, indeed, ask Allah for forgiveness one hundred times a day and turn to Him one hundred times a day."
