حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ ، بِبَغْدَادَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَرَبِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "النَّدَمُ تَوْبَةٌ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ ، إِلا ابْنُ سَوَّارٍ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Regret and remorse is also repentance."
