حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ الْمُعَدِّلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ ، سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "عَنِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ ، فَقَالَ : تَقْعُدُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا ، ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ طُهْرٍ ، ثُمَّ تَحْتَشِي ، وَتُصَلِّي "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجِ ، إِلا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that Fatimah bint Qays (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about a woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual bleeding), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She should sit during her menstrual days, then perform ghusl at the time of each purification, use a pad, and perform the prayer."
