Hadith 5886
عَن يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ أَثَرَ ضَرْبَةٍ فِي سَاقِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا مُسلم مَا هَذِه الضَّربةُ؟ فَقَالَ: هَذِه ضَرْبَةٌ أَصَابَتْنِي يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ أُصِيبَ سَلَمَةُ فَأَتَيْتُ الْنَبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَفَثَ فِيهِ ثَلَاثَ نَفَثَاتٍ فَمَا اشْتَكَيْتُهَا حَتَّى السَّاعَة. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
Yazid b. Abu `Ubaid said:I saw the mark of a blow on the leg of Salama b. al-Akwa' and asked, "What is this blow, Abu Muslim?" He replied, "It is a blow I received at the battle for Khaibar which made the people say I had been killed. I went to the Prophet who blew spittle on it three times, and up to now I have been having no trouble with it." Bukhari transmitted it.
