The Book of Tribulations
(بُعِثْتُ فِي ابْتِدَاءِ القِيَامَةِ)
(I was sent at the beginning of the Day of Judgment)
Hadith 5513
عَن الْمُسْتَوْرد بن شَدَّاد عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «بُعِثْتُ فِي نَفَسِ السَّاعَةِ فَسَبَقْتُهَا كَمَا سَبَقَتْ هذِه هذِه» وأشارَ بأصبعيهِ السبَّابةِ وَالْوُسْطَى. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
Al-Mustaurid b. Shaddad reported the Prophet as saying, "I have been commissioned when the end of time is near and I have preceded it as this has preceded that," indicating his forefinger and his middle finger. Tirmidhi transmitted it.
