(كَيْفَ يُضِلُّ الشَّيَاطِينُ النَّاسَ؟)
(How do devils mislead people?)
Hadith 5371
عَن عِيَاض بن حمَار الْمُجَاشِعِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ: أَلَا إِنَّ رَبِّي أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَا جَهِلْتُمْ مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي يَوْمِي هَذَا: كُلُّ مَالٍ نَحَلْتُهُ عَبْدًا حلالٌ وإِني خلقت عبَادي حنفَاء كلهم وَإنَّهُ أَتَتْهُمُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فَاجْتَالَتْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ وَحَرَّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا أَحْلَلْتُ لَهُمْ وَأَمَرَتْهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بِي مَا لَمْ أُنْزِلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ نَظَرَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَرَبَهُمْ وَعَجَمَهُمْ إِلَّا بَقَايَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَقَالَ: إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُكَ لِأَبْتَلِيَكَ وَأَبْتَلِيَ بِكَ وَأَنْزَلَتُ عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا لَا يَغْسِلُهُ الْمَاءُ تَقْرَؤُهُ نَائِمًا وَيَقْظَانَ وَإِنَّ الله أَمرنِي أَن أحرقَ قُريْشًا فَقلت: يَا رَبِّ إِذًا يَثْلَغُوا رَأْسِي فَيَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً قَالَ: اسْتَخْرِجْهُمْ كَمَا أَخْرَجُوكَ وَاغْزُهُمْ نُغْزِكَ وَأَنْفِقْ فَسَنُنْفِقُ عَلَيْكَ وَابْعَثْ جَيْشًا نَبْعَثْ خَمْسَةً مِثْلَهُ وَقَاتِلْ بِمن أطاعك من عصاك . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
It is narrated from ‘Iyad bin Himar al-Mujashi‘i (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in his sermon: “Listen! My Lord has commanded me to teach you what He has taught me today, things which you did not know. All wealth that I have bestowed upon any servant is lawful. I have created all My servants as Hunafa (those who keep away from falsehood and are ready to accept the truth). Indeed, the devils come to them and turn them away from their religion, and they make unlawful for them what I had made lawful for them, and they command them to associate with Me that for which I have sent down no authority. Indeed, Allah looked at the people of the earth and detested them, both Arabs and non-Arabs, except for some remnants from the People of the Book. And He said: I have only sent you so that I may test you and test (your people) through you. I have sent down upon you a Book which water cannot wash away (it is unalterable); you will recite it while asleep and awake. Indeed, Allah has commanded me to destroy Quraysh, so I said: My Lord! They will crush my head and make it like bread. He said: Expel them as they expelled you, and fight them, We will support you. Spend, and you will be provided for. Send forth an army, and We will send five armies (of angels) like it. And you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will fight the disobedient with your obedient followers.” Narrated by Muslim.
