Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(قُرْبَ القِيَامَةِ سَيَرِثُ الأَشْرَارُ الحُكْمَ وَالمَالَ)
(Near the Day of Judgment, the wicked will inherit authority and wealth)
Hadith 5365
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَسْعَدَ النَّاسِ بِالدُّنْيَا لُكَعُ بْنُ لُكَعَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَالْبَيْهَقِيّ فِي «دَلَائِل النُّبُوَّة»
Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until the most despicable and lowly person will be the one who enjoys the greatest share of the world (its wealth, goods, and positions)." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and al-Bayhaqi in Dala'il al-Nubuwwah.
