كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(مَتَى سَتَفْسُدُ الأُمَّةُ المُسْلِمَةُ؟)
(When will the Muslim nation become corrupt?)
Hadith 5363
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا مَشَتْ أُمَّتِي الْمُطَيْطَاء وَخَدَمَتْهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ الْمُلُوكِ أَبْنَاءُ فَارِسَ وَالرُّومِ سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ شِرَارَهَا عَلَى خِيَارِهَا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيث غَرِيب
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When my Ummah adopts an arrogant gait and the sons of kings (that is, the princes of Persia and Rome) become their servants, then Allah will impose the evil ones of this (Ummah) over its good ones." Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib. Its chain is weak. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
