كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(حَالَةُ النَّاسِ المُتَفَرِّقَةُ)
(The scattered condition of people)
Hadith 5360
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّمَا النَّاسُ كَالْإِبِلِ الْمِائَةِ لَا تَكَادُ تَجِدُ فِيهَا رَاحِلَةً» . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "People (in terms of their conditions and characteristics) are like one hundred camels among which you will hardly find one fit for riding." Agreed upon.
