Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(يُبْعَثُ الإِنْسَانُ عَلَى الحَالِ الَّذِي مَاتَ عَلَيْهِ)
(A person will be raised in the state they died in)
Hadith 5345
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يُبْعَثُ كُلُّ عَبْدٍ عَلَى مَا ماتَ عَلَيْهِ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every servant will be resurrected upon the last deed he performed before his death." Narrated by Muslim.
