كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(بَيَانُ العِبَادَةِ فِي حُضُورِ النَّاسِ وَغِيَابِهِمْ)
(Description of worship in the presence and absence of people)
Hadith 5329
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا صَلَّى فِي الْعَلَانِيَةِ فَأَحْسَنَ وَصَلَّى فِي السِّرِّ فَأَحْسَنَ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: هَذَا عَبْدِي حَقًّا . رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, when a servant performs prayer openly, he performs it well, and when he performs prayer in seclusion, he also performs it well. Allah, the Exalted, says: This is My sincere servant." Its chain is weak, narrated by Ibn Majah.
