Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَّمَنِي هَذِهِ الآيَةَ)
(The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, taught me this verse)
Hadith 5307
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: أَقْرَأَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: (إِنِّي أَنَا الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ) رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حسن صَحِيح
Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) taught me this verse: "Indeed, I alone am the Provider, the Possessor of Strength and Power." Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, and they said: This hadith is Hasan Sahih. Sahih, narrated by Abu Dawood and Tirmidhi.
