Hadith 5303
Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A person’s good fortune lies in being content with Allah’s decree regarding himself. A person’s misfortune is that he abandons seeking good from Allah, and a person’s misfortune is that he is not content with Allah’s decree regarding himself.” Ahmad, Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib. Its chain is weak. Narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi.
