Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(مَنْ رَضِيَ بِرِزْقٍ قَلِيلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْ عَمَلِهِ القَلِيلِ)
(Whoever is content with little sustenance, Allah Almighty is pleased with their little deeds)
Hadith 5263
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ رَضِيَ مِنَ اللَّهِ بِالْيَسِيرِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ رَضِيَ الله مِنْهُ بِالْقَلِيلِ من الْعَمَل»
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: "Whoever is content with the little provision given by Allah, Allah becomes pleased with his little deeds." Its chain is weak; it was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
