Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! Indeed, virtue and evil are two (distinct) creations. On the Day of Resurrection, they will be made to stand before the people. Thus, virtue will give glad tidings to its companions (i.e., the righteous) and promise them good, while evil will say: 'Stay away, stay away,' but those (who committed evil) will not be able to separate themselves from it." Its chain is weak. Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
