Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(مُسَاعَدَةُ الظَّالِمِ تُخْرِجُ مِنْ دَائِرَةِ الإِسْلَامِ)
(Assisting the oppressor removes one from the circle of Islam)
Hadith 5135
وَعَن أوْسِ بن شَرحبيل أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ مَشَى مَعَ ظَالِمٍ لِيُقَوِّيَهُ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ ظَالِمٌ فَقَدْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْإِسْلَام»
It is narrated from Aws bin Sharhabil (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever accompanies an oppressor in order to strengthen him, while he knows that he is an oppressor, such a person goes out of Islam." Its chain is weak. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
