(مَنْ هُوَ المُفْلِسُ؟)
(Who is the bankrupt?)
Hadith 5127
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَتَدْرُونَ مَا الْمُفْلِسُ؟» . قَالُوا: الْمُفْلِسُ فِينَا مَنْ لَا دِرْهَمَ لَهُ وَلَا مَتَاعَ. فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ الْمُفْلِسَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ يَأْتِي يَوْم الْقِيَامَة بِصَلَاة وَصِيَام وَزَكَاة وَيَأْتِي وَقَدْ شَتَمَ هَذَا وَقَذَفَ هَذَا. وَأَكَلَ مَالَ هَذَا. وَسَفَكَ دَمَ هَذَا وَضَرَبَ هَذَا فَيُعْطَى هَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ وَهَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ فَإِنْ فَنِيَتْ حَسَنَاتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْضِيَ مَا عَلَيْهِ أُخِذَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُمْ فَطُرِحَتْ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ طُرح فِي النَّار» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do you know who is the bankrupt?" They replied, the one who has neither dirham nor wealth and possessions. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The bankrupt of my Ummah is the one who will come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers, fasting, and zakat, but he will also come having abused someone, slandered someone, unlawfully consumed the wealth of someone, shed the blood of someone, and beaten someone. So his good deeds will be given to those (whom he wronged), and if his good deeds run out before the rights are fulfilled, then their sins will be placed upon him, and he will be thrown into the Hellfire." Narrated by Muslim.
