(ثَلَاثُ صِدْقَاتٍ)
(Three truths)
Hadith 5102
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا شَتَمَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ يَتَعَجَّبُ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ فَلَمَّا أَكْثَرَ رَدَّ عَلَيْهِ بَعْضَ قَوْلِهِ فَغَضِبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَامَ فَلَحِقَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَانَ يَشْتُمُنِي وَأَنْتَ جَالِسٌ فَلَمَّا رَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ بَعْضَ قَوْلِهِ غَضِبْتَ وَقُمْتَ. قَالَ: «كَانَ مَعَكَ مَلَكٌ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا رَدَدْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَقَعَ الشَّيْطَانُ» . ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ ثَلَاثٌ كُلُّهُنَّ حقٌّ: مَا منْ عبدٍ ظلم بمظلمة فِي غضي عَنْهَا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا أَعَزَّ اللَّهُ بِهَا نَصْرَهُ وَمَا فَتَحَ رَجُلٌ بَابَ عَطِيَّةٍ يُرِيدُ بِهَا صِلَةً إِلَّا زَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَا كَثْرَةً وَمَا فَتَحَ رَجُلٌ بَابَ مَسْأَلَةٍ يُرِيدُ بِهَا كَثْرَةً إِلَّا زَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَا قِلَّةً . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man abused Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, while the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was sitting there. He was amazed and smiling. When the man became more insolent, Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, replied to one of his remarks, at which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, became angry and stood up. Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, went to him and said: O Messenger of Allah! He kept abusing me while you were sitting there, but when I replied to one of his remarks, you became angry and stood up. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There was an angel with you who was replying to him, but when you replied, Satan appeared." Then he said: "O Abu Bakr! Three things are absolutely true: Whoever is wronged and overlooks it for the sake of Allah, Allah the Exalted grants him strength and victory in return; whoever gives in order to maintain ties of kinship, Allah gives him more in return; and whoever asks (begs) in order to increase his wealth, Allah only increases him in poverty." Its chain is good. Narrated by Ahmad.
